Sailing is a sport that can be undertaken by almost anyone, age is no barrier as we have had sailors from four years to regular sailors over eighty. The club is a RYA (Royal Yachting Association) training centre, and will be offering limited training courses throughout the year for club members along with regular coaching sessions. These courses and training will be held in sailing dinghies, we also offer powerboat courses.
Membership is open to all. we offer the following categories of membership
| Introductory Crew | A special membership fee payable for the first year only - not applicable to a boat owner |
| Family | Full member including wife / partner and children under 16 |
| Single | Full member |
| Junior | Under 18's |
| Social | For those who do not wish to sail, but enjoy the social life of the club |
| Student Member | In Full time education and under 25 |
