Sunderland Yacht Club has an active Dinghy Fleet with handicap racing every Sunday from April to December and Tuesday evenings from May to September. Racing takes place either in Seaburn Bay, a short sail from our launching area, or within Roker Harbour.
Our Dinghy Fleet consists of a variety of classes including: Toppers, Lasers, RS classes, Blaze’s, Asymmetric classes (including Musto Skiff & Spice), and more.
The club has several training boats which may be available for use during race days. Details of use of these can be found here: link to document

All dinghy sailors are asked to complete race officer and safety duties as without this the racing will not happen. If you are unable to attend for your duty, then it is your responsibility to swap.
