2020 AGM VOTING PROCEDURE: TIME TO VOTE

This is the first time the Club has been unable to hold an AGM in person, and I would like to thank you for allowing the Club to host the 2020 AGM electronically. We have all been touched or more with what has happened this year but hopefully things will be much better next year.

Members have acted very responsibly when using the Club, staying away for health reasons or to protect others. This reminds us all that we have an excellent Club and this is because the members are the Club.

All our thanks must go to the committees and working groups that have kept us safe and facilitated as much sport as we could in the circumstances. Some have said we should have done more but our conservative route has been applauded by our governing body.

HOW DO I VOTE?

You need to cast your votes for Club Officers, General Committee Members in 2021 (list attached) and acceptance of the 2020 Annual Accounts. Results will be announced at the AGM on WEDNESDAY 9^th DECEMBER 2020 - PLEASE NOTE THIS DATE OVERRIDES ANY PREVIOUS DOCUMENT.

Voting opens at midnight 1^st December and closes midnight 6^th December. To be eligible to vote you must be an active Full Member, Family Member, Life Member, Honorary Member (as per Section 3 Club Rules). Remember: THERE IS ONLY ONE VOTE PER FAMILY MEMBERSHIP.

HOW DO I VOTE? All sections must be completed for your vote to be valid.

Login to the website with your personal details - your email address you have registered with SCM and your password. Forgotten your password? Click Forgotten password to reset.

Click on MY PROFILE (header bar top right alongside your name)

Scroll down (blue shaded righthand side) and click on POLLS from dropdown menu.

There will be two votes open:

• A) AGM 2020 Voting: Accounts to accept the annual accounts year ending 30 September 2020
• B) AGM 2020 Voting: Nominations to accept the persons nominated for the roles in 2021 as received on 17 November 2020

• 1) Choose OPEN (main section)
• 2) Click ACCOUNTS
• 3) To cast your vote, click from the dropdown menu: Agree : Disagree : Abstain : Click on appropriate box
• 4) Enter your name in CONTACT box - this must be completed to cast your vote.
• 5) Click PLACE VOTE

Repeat above steps 2 to 5 to go back and vote for the NOMINATIONS.
