Musto Skiff National Championships 2021

After quite a different year, Sunderland Yacht Club is pleased to welcome the Musto Skiff Class back for your 2021 National Championships. Sunderland has strong links to the Musto Skiff class with past and present sailors having been members at the club.

To keep the event as safe as possible for both sailors and club volunteers, we are taking the UK government restrictions and RYA guidelines into account to risk assess and plan every part of the event. This may result in some changes to the event including, at present, an entry level capped at 60 boats. It also means the event may be subject to cancellation should the Covid-19 situation change - we very much hope the current situation and continued easing of restrictions that this will not be the case.

Due to the expected announcement of further changes from the 21st of June, final arrangements such as social events will not be confirmed before new restrictions, if any, can be considered in terms of how they may impact the event running.

Entry Fees & Registration

The entry fee for this year's event £135

Please also note that you must be a member of the class association to enter the event. Find out more about class membership and benefits here.

Entries are provisionally limited to 60 boats. In the event of over subscription, we will implement a waiting list. Should restrictions relax further and allow more entries or there be cancellations places will be allocated as they come available.

To enter the event, please use the Sunderland Yacht Club booking system here. You will need to create and account on the club's website. This will allow you to enter and also login to view the entry list.

In the Event of Cancellation COVID-19

In the event of a cancellation related to changes in COVID-19 preventing the event going ahead, refunds will be provided minus a portion of the fee to cover residual costs incurred. In the event a competitor chooses to cancel, refunds will be discretionary.
