A glorious Roker Regatta

The 2023 Roker Dinghy Regatta saw 2 days of great sailing at Sunderland Yacht Club.
Saturday started a little slowly, with boats sat rigged on the beach as the sailors waited patiently for the wind. Thankfully the launch signal came and racing began in a sunny Seaburn Bay. Two races in light conditions.
Saturday night was spent at SYC, with great food from the galley and live music.
Sunday provided improved conditions with an increasing stronger breeze allowing 4 races to take place.
Thanks to all the sailors and the race team who put on a great weekend of sailing.
