North East and Yorkshire Youth Travelers Series.

Over the 25 th and 26 th of June, the club hosted 28 entries for the NEYYTS. Young sailors from around the region compete over the year in several events which count towards the series. They were treated to some testing conditions over the 2 days. Four Sunderland junior members represented the club over the 2 days showing some real grit and determination in their sailing, hopefully, next year we will see even more. Across the fleet, there was an exceptional display of sailing given the conditions and the superb safety team kept this all under control on both days, even though some testing 30mph gusts were recorded on Sunday!

Many thanks to the race team on both days led by Dave Addison who have been highly complimented in the feedback from visitors.
